Clare John trained as a designer jeweller at Middlesex Polytechnic. She has made jewellery ever since, and had a jewellery gallery in Sussex. Now she concentrates on developing the use of resin in jewellery and teaches workshops throughout the UK.
As well as teaching at the Sussex Jewellery School, Clare teaches at City Lit in London, Birmingham City University Summer School, Mid Cornwall School of Jewellery and Gloucestershire College. Committed to maintaining her teaching skills, she has recently taken a teacher training course in the Adult Life Long Learning Sector.
