All measurements seem to be in millimeters (mm) – what is it in inches?

Millimeters is the standard measurement used for jewelry and gemstones. 6mm = approximately 1/4 inch.

I saw an item in sterling silver that I want in gold. It said the item may be custom ordered in gold – how do I do that?

Some items that are represented in sterling silver may be custom ordered in gold. Gold prices depend on the market value for gold that day. The settings in gold are not generally stocked unless they have been special ordered and would be custom orders and not refundable. Please contact us for a price quote.

What is the charge for shipping?

Shipping within the US is actual cost for 1st class mail + $3.50. The $3.50 covers insurance, delivery confirmation, and packaging. Shipping is $14.50 to Canada and the UK for registered mail. I only ship to countries that allow import of jewelry. Customers are responsible for any customs charges and/or taxes imposed by their country on imported merchandise. It is the customer’s responsibility to be aware of what may or may not be legally imported into their country.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express) are accepted via PayPal. You may also mail in a cashier’s check or money order in U.S. funds. Mail in payments should be made out to Jill Nightingale and can be sent to:

How is my credit card information protected?

When you submit your order it is protected by SSL (note the lock on the bottom of your browser screen) so that all information transmitted is secure. If you prefer not to send credit card information over the internet, you may also choose to pay via cashier’s check or money order.

How long will it take for my order to be shipped?

Webstore orders for instock items are shipped within 1-3 business days from receipt of payment. Custom orders and those that note shipping times may take up to 10 business days to be shipped. You will receive an e-mail when your payment is received and another e-mail letting you know when your order is on its way.

What is your return policy?

Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please contact us. You may return the item(s) in original, unaltered, condition within 7 days of the receipt of your purchase. The item(s) must be mailed back with insurance and tracking.

Custom orders (rings that have been sized and items that have been upgraded to gold from sterling silver) are not refundable. Return shipping is not refundable, however your initial shipping charge (1st class mail within the US only) is.
Shipping and returns

Shipping:

In stock items are mailed within 1-3 business days of receipt of payment. Special orders are mailed with 10 business days of receipt of payment. Shipping price is $5 within the US and $14.50 (registered mail) for Canada and the UK.

Return Policy:

We understand that jewelry is very difficult to purchase without seeing first. Unaltered merchandise may be returned within 7 days of receipt. They must be mailed back insured with tracking. If we do not receive your return, we cannot issue a refund.

Return shipping is not refundable. Your original shipping charge is refundable (1st class mail within the US only).

Special orders (custom ring sizes and upgrades from sterling silver to gold) are not returnable.
